We do not believe today's AI is the destination.

Artificial intelligence has changed a great deal over the past few years. But anyone who has handled it in the field stops at the same place. The demo is impressive, and then it wavers once it goes into operation. It is right most of the time, and it cannot tell you when it is wrong. We do not think this is solved by moving a model's score a few points.

Our name comes from axiom — the first premise a system accepts as true without proof. A system usually reaches its limit not because a calculation was wrong, but because a premise it took for granted stopped holding. We judged that this is where AI stands now, and so we chose to begin by counting the premises again.

This direction is not fast. Results take time to become visible, and there will not be many spectacular scenes to show along the way. We chose it because we believe the technology that actually stays in an industry is built at this layer.

We intend to be a company that tells you what a system cannot do before telling you what it can. A good demo works once; good technology works ten thousand times. Knowing that difference is what we consider competence, and it is the most honest promise we can make to our customers and colleagues.

We are looking for people willing to hold on to a problem that takes a long time.
